Computer Giants recently announced that it has partnered with Sony Electronics to provide a “Why Wait Rebate” to our customers purchasing a Sony ATI-2 Turbo media storage product. The Sony AIT-2 Turbo is a great alternative to standard tape formats and is available now, unlike DAT 160 and DAT 72 products.
The AIT-2 Turbo offers higher capacity and superior performance to standard tape formats and can fit current and future storage needs with up to 80 GB native capacity per drive at a backup speed of up to 12 MB/s. The product also offers multiple interfaces with industry leading reliability. So Why Wait for a tape format product that will most likely take multiple tapes to complete a single back up when Sony’s AIT-2 Turbo is better equipped, available now and is effectively the same price when purchased through Computer Giants? We don’t know why you’d wait either.
